hi, I’m Trevor Katz.
The idea behind Farm To Table (named for the eventual creation of a coffee table book) is that not only am I the photographer, but, more importantly, I am the artist.
The farms and zipper lines that I have photographed are the culmination of, in some cases, years of work. To ski good quality snow, with good lighting, and an aesthetic snow surface takes all of the variables lining up at once.
I am really excited to share prints from the highest quality suppliers I could find. These prints are not priced for me to get rich, but just to pay for the gas to go out and make more art.
more about me
While not working on the farm or behind the lens, I am an avalanche forecaster, backcountry and cat ski guide, avalanche educator, and professional observer. I live in Oakley, UT, with my roommates, cat, snowmobiles, and guitars. I am an aspiring audiophile, a Louis L’amour fanatic, and I have 60 digits of PI memorized.
